NON-WOVEN (PP) QUIET FIN PILE WEATHER STRIP [QFIN SL UV] - SILICONISED & UV STABILIZED
Silicone treated & UV stabilized multifilament yarn with Polypropylene non-woven fabric fin, also know as quiet fin, is welded to the center of the base of the strip.
This provides a solid barrier against air infiltration and water penetration hence significantly improving weather resistance and noise reduction beyond the pile alone. UV stabilization ensures longevity in direct sunlight.
Due to higher fin height, the fin makes the primary, tight seal against the opposing surface. The brush pile acts as a low-friction stabilizer and a secondary seal which helps to reduce the compression of the brushes during sliding.
